OTR tyre size guide: find the size for your machine
Pick a machine to see the tyre sizes it usually runs, the tread type to start with, and what to watch for. Then read the sidewall key below to check what you have.
Sizes are typical fitments, not a guarantee for every model or year. Always confirm against the tyre fitted now or the operator's manual.

Size questions
A tyre about 17.5 inches wide that fits a 25-inch rim. The dash means bias (cross-ply) construction; 17.5R25 is the radial version of the same size.
Construction. 23.5-25 is a bias tyre; 23.5R25 is a radial. Both fit the same rim, but they should not be mixed on the same axle.
Ply rating 20. It is a strength index that indicates load capacity at a given pressure, not the actual number of fabric layers.
L3 is the general-purpose loader tread. L2 suits soft or paved ground; L4 and L5 have deeper tread for abrasive rock at quarry faces.
