In a quarry the tyre is a consumable that can cost more than the fuel. The two things that end OTR tyre life early on Pakistani quarry sites are cuts from sharp shot rock at the face, and heat build-up on long, loaded haul cycles. They need different solutions: deeper, cut-resistant tread for the loader at the face, and a tyre rated for the speed and distance on the haul truck.
That is why we ask about the job, not only the size. A 23.5-25 loader tyre in L3 and the same size in L5 look similar on an invoice, but they behave very differently on limestone. We will tell you which we recommend and why, and quote both if you want to compare.
